PEY House

This house is located beside a reserved forest. The project intention was to create a well function house but also a space to enjoy and appreciate the outside view. The sensation of open spaces connected reading area, grand piano, dining, and outdoor water feature is established by two sets of wide sliding doors. There are no high elements which also contributes to a fluid indoor-outdoor perception....

The interior design follows neutral colours. White stone flooring creates a contrast to the wainscoting wall panels, which continue its appearance towards kitchen. At the bedrooms there are a beach inspiring mood, using neutral colours to marry with wood flooring details. At the daughter’s room, we designed a ludic space using a pinkish palette. In addition to the functional layout of the rooms, a lot of attention was put on the choice of materials and colours in which we wanted to express our client’s simplicity and at the same time a touch of sophistication.
